D’Agostino’s scholarship focuses on
comparative education policy, examining
systems and institutions and their role in
improving educational outcomes for vulnerable
children in low- and middle-income contexts. He
is a principal investigator for the USAID-funded
global education research grant SHARE, where
he leads “Language of Instruction Transitions
in Education Systems” (LITES), a study in five
African countries and the Philippines.
As a professor of Engineering and Global Affairs,
jointly appointed in the Department of Civil and
Environmental Engineering and Earth Sciences.
Kijewski-Correa’s research is dedicated to
enhancing the resilience and sustainability of
hazard-exposed communities, with an emphasis
on conceiving holistic responses to infrastructure
vulnerabilities and tools that support science-
informed decision-making.
Perrin leads the Pulte Institute’s Evidence and
Learning Division and is an international health,
humanitarian, and development research and
practice professional with over a decade of
work experience in academic, government,
and non-governmental settings. His work
has focused on supporting the design,
implementation, and analysis of monitoring
science activities in resource-challenged
environments.
Adams’ work examines the social, political,
institutional, and governance dimensions
of environmental and natural resources,
particularly water in the Global South. His
current research converges on three main
domains: urban water insecurity, water
policy and governance, and gender, water, and
sustainable development.
A civil engineer and environmental sociologist,
Grubert studies how we can make better
decisions about large infrastructure systems,
particularly related to the justice-centering
decarbonization of the U.S. energy system.
She analyzes lifecycle assessments and socio-
environmental impacts of future policy
and infrastructure.
Meng’s research focuses on environmental
and natural resource economics, the
interdisciplinary studies between labor, health,
development, socioeconomics, and geography,
and applying GIS techniques to spatial
cost-benefit analysis of complex
environmental issues.
