Our focus areas include: living out our mission daily with our guests and employees, combating food insecurity, empowering through education, advancing accessibility and inclusion, supporting refugees and asylum seekers, and strengthening local communities. GIVEN A CHANCE Twelve team members with intellectual and developmental disabilities worked more than 8,000 hours this past year at Saint John’s Resort through partnerships with Gesher Services and the Living and Learning Enrichment Center. With guidance from dedicated coaches, these associates continue to provide exceptional services across our property. Omari is an example of what happens when dedication meets opportunity—a testament to the spirit of the human soul and the profound impact of being given a chance.” – Ted Goewey, Gesher Human Services Hotel guests participated in our “Thanks for Giving” and ”Christmas Giving Tree" campaigns. 11,567 Hours of service were contributed by 12 high school and college students, through work study and internships. 8,250 Employees engaged in purpose-driven work and elevated to a living wage and market-leading benefits. 584 Million dollars invested to house 70+ employees on Mackinac Island, creating best-in-market employee housing. 13 Kids participated in First Tee golf clinics at Saint John’s Resort. 15 Meals were served to Detroit area residents from 5,991 pounds of excess banquet food. 7,189
