La Puente is a lifeline for vulnerable individuals in Colorado’s San Luis Valley. In 2024, thousands 
benefited from the three programs the Foundation supports:
•	
The Emergency Shelter provided safe refuge for those experiencing homelessness, offering case 
management and serving over 30,000 meals through its soup kitchen.
•	
The Food Bank Network of the San Luis Valley, supported by 60 volunteers across 14 pantries, 
distributed food to over 9,500 individuals, addressing hunger in remote communities.
•	
The Street Outreach program expanded its efforts to connect unsheltered individuals with 
essential services and distribute critical supplies.
